Alliance Française de Dubaï
About Alliance Française de Dubaï
Alliance Française de Dubaï is a French language and cultural centre with two branches in Dubai, in Oud Metha and Dubai Knowledge Park. It is for adults and children learning French, people who need an official French exam for study, immigration or naturalisation, and readers who want a French-language library.
Courses
- Adults: classes for complete beginners and non-beginners, workshops, and also Arabic and English classes.
- Children and teens: Les Pitchounes for toddlers, then groups for ages 3 to 6, 7 to 10 and 11 to 15, plus classes for native speakers.
- Other formats: private lessons, school programmes and corporate training. Group, private and some online courses are offered, with evening, weekend and intensive options.
The FAQ says group classes have 8 to 12 students depending on the course type, and a group needs at least four participants to open.
Exams
- DELF, DALF and DELF Prim, awarded by the French Ministry of Education
- TEF and TCF Canada/Québec for Canadian immigration
- French naturalisation exams accepted by the French Consulate
- DAEFLE, the diploma for teaching French as a foreign language, and an Arabic certificate
