Dubai move-in cost calculator: Ejari and DEWA in one total
Moving into a rented home in Dubai costs AED 177.75 for Ejari online (AED 220 at a trustee centre) and, for DEWA, a refundable AED 2,000 deposit for a flat or AED 4,000 for a villa plus AED 155 in connection fees. Add your rent, deposit and commission to see the cash you need on day one.

Large-meter homes pay AED 300 instead of AED 125 to connect. For tenants, DEWA opens the account automatically once Ejari is issued and emails a payment link; supply is connected within 15 working hours of paying.
