Ashok Leyland (UAE) LLC runs the Ras Al Khaimah plant of the Indian commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland, in Al Ghail Industrial Area. The plant builds buses and trucks for the GCC and other Middle East and African markets. It is a factory for fleet and business buyers, not a retail showroom for private customers.

According to the company’s manufacturing page, the Ras Al Khaimah plant has been operating since 2009, is run by the subsidiary Ashok Leyland (UAE) LLC, and produces buses and trucks for Gulf Cooperation Council countries and other markets in the Middle East and Africa. It is one of the group’s nine manufacturing plants.
