This is the Mussafah 2 branch of Emirates Transport in the M 40 industrial area of Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. Musaffah is one of the fixed stations of the company’s Auto Inspection service for heavy vehicles and heavy equipment, so it is mainly used by truck and bus drivers, fleet operators and equipment owners.
What the inspection service covers
In a May 2026 announcement, Emirates Transport said its Auto Inspection service runs nine fixed stations: eight in Abu Dhabi emirate (Musaffah, Al Faya, Mazyad, Al Saad, Al Hayer, Al Quaa, Madinat Zayed and Ghayathi) and one in Fujairah. It also runs 3 mobile inspection units for heavy vehicles and 10 equipped vehicles for heavy equipment, which work every day of the week, including public holidays, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. A remote “theoretical” inspection by video call has been added for machinery on islands. The company names the Integrated Transport Centre (Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Sector) among its partners.
Before you go
Advance appointment booking has been introduced at the Musaffah and Mezyad stations to cut waiting times, so it is worth booking before you drive a heavy vehicle to the site. The announcement does not say which channel to book through, and it does not publish fees or a document list, so ask Emirates Transport when you book.
