About JINS Palm Jumeirah

JINS Palm Jumeirah is the Palm Jumeirah branch of Jumeirah International Nurseries, a British early years provider that is part of Fortes Education and has operated since 1981. It takes children from 45 days to 6 years and suits families on or near the Palm looking for a nursery or a Year 1 class.

Curriculum and facilities

The branch follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for FS1 and FS2, drawing on STEAM, Positive Education, Reggio Emilia and the Curiosity Approach. For children aged 5 to 6, the Palm Jumeirah and JBR branches offer a Year 1 class using the International Preschool Curriculum. The branch page describes classrooms with natural light, an indoor STEAM courtyard called Zig Zag Zoom, and an outdoor terrace with sand and water play, plant potting stations and climbing frames.

The nursery day and year

  • Early class 7:00 to 8:00 am; morning programme 8:00 am to 1:00 pm; afternoon programme 1:00 to 6:00 pm.
  • Three terms: September to December, January to March, and April to July. An all-year programme also runs through the summer.
  • Children are grouped by age, from Little Learners (4 months to 1.5 years) to Year 1 (5 to 5.11 years).

Fees and how to apply

Tuition depends on age, days and hours, and the admissions team quotes it on request. The fees page lists a one-time application fee of AED 525 and an annual administration fee of AED 630 (both include VAT and are non-refundable), and a 5% sibling discount for the second and third child.

The application process has three steps: book a tour (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, on +971 4 5400 500) or a free Stay and Play session on Fridays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm; apply online and pay the application fee; then pay the administration and term fees when a place is offered. Documents needed with the application are the child’s birth certificate, passport, UAE residence visa, Emirates ID, four passport photos and vaccination record. Parents’ passports, visas and Emirates IDs are needed before the first day.
