About Trade License Zone
Trade License Zone (TLZ) is a private business-setup consultancy on Level 5 of One JLT in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. It is for founders and companies who want help getting a UAE trade licence, residency visas, a corporate bank account or office space. It is not a government licensing authority.
What it offers
- Licensing: advice on choosing between a free zone and a mainland setup, plus offshore company setup. TLZ says it manages the licence application and deals with the government and free zone authorities for you.
- Visas: residency visa applications and the related entry permits.
- Bank account: advice on suitable banks and introductions to bank officials.
- Offices: co-working desks, private furnished offices, meeting rooms, flexi desks, reception services and virtual addresses (TLZ Office, TLZ Address, TLZ Receptionist).
- Accounting: TLZ Tax & Accounting covers accounting, auditing, tax and VAT.
How the process works (as TLZ describes it)
- A consultation about your business and plans.
- Defining your business activities, which decides the jurisdiction, licence and setup type.
- TLZ submits the licence application.
- Preparing the documents.
- Arranging the residency visa, which includes a medical fitness test (chest X-ray and blood test) and the Emirates ID application.
- Opening a corporate bank account.
- Finding office space, if needed.
For a first enquiry TLZ asks for basic details of your planned activities. Passport and visa copies are typically needed, with other documents depending on the business type and location.

TLZ does not publish setup, licence or visa prices on its website; costs are given after a consultation.
