Twin Turbo Car Rental is a car hire company on 15C Street in Hor Al Anz East, Dubai. It rents everything from economy sedans and SUVs to seven-seaters, electric cars, luxury vans and sports cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche, for residents and visitors who meet its age and licence rules.

Who can rent and what to bring

According to the company’s FAQ page:

• drivers must be aged 21 to 65 and have held a licence for at least one year;
• bring a valid UAE driving licence or an International Driving Permit, your passport with the visa page, and a credit or debit card;
• visitors without UAE residence need an international driving licence to rent luxury cars.

Deposit, mileage and charges

The homepage says there is no advance deposit and uses a credit card pre-authorisation instead. The rental policy gives the amounts held: AED 1,500–2,500 for small cars and AED 3,000–8,000 for large and luxury cars. The policy says the hold lasts 30 working days; the FAQ says it is released after 15 days, so ask which applies.

• Daily rental is 24 hours with a 250 km daily limit; extra kilometres cost AED 1–20 each, as agreed with staff.
• Late return: one hour’s grace, then hourly fees; more than three hours late is charged as a full day.
• Salik and Darb tolls and all traffic fines are paid by the renter.
• Cleaning: AED 100 if the car comes back dirty, plus AED 150 for a deep clean (for example after smoking).
• If the renter causes an accident, the policy sets AED 8,000 plus 25% of the repair cost; renters under 25 bear full responsibility for damage.

Booking and hours

Cars can be booked online, and the FAQ says changes or cancellations are free in the first 48 hours. Payment is by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash or online banking. Good to know

• The rental policy says cars are not handed over on Saturdays, Sundays or official holidays, although the published hours cover every day; confirm your pick-up day.
• Ask for a change of drop-off location at least 4–6 hours ahead.
