Yas Island Guide: Theme Parks, Tickets and Getting There

Yas Island, on the eastern edge of Abu Dhabi, has four ticketed theme parks: Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld, plus Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Mall and free waterfronts. The official Yas Island site puts it 25 minutes from Abu Dhabi airport and 75 minutes from Dubai airport. Single-day park tickets started at AED 295 on the official sites when we checked.

The four theme parks on Yas Island

Prices were read on each park’s ticket page on 7 October 2026. Parks change prices and run offers, so treat these as a guide and check the ticket page on the day you buy.

Things each park mentions

• Warner Bros. World says three Harry Potter-themed lands are coming, without giving a date on the page we read.
• Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld offer FacePass, contactless entry by facial recognition.
• SeaWorld lists a People of Determination ticket at AED 100 and a discount for UAE-resident seniors aged 65 and over, both bought at the gate.
• Next to SeaWorld is Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue, which the island describes as the UAE’s first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return centre.

Other things to do on Yas

• Yas Marina Circuit: the motorsport venue, listed by the island under its active experiences.
• CLYMB Abu Dhabi and Yas Links Abu Dhabi (golf): also on the island’s activities list.
• Etihad Arena for concerts and events, and Yas Mall for shopping.

Free on Yas Island

Visit Abu Dhabi says entry to the island itself is free, and so are public waterfronts such as Yas Bay and Yas Marina. Only the parks and attractions charge.

Getting to Yas Island from Dubai

• By car or taxi: the island’s directions page gives about 75 minutes from Dubai airport.
• By intercity bus: RTA routes E100 (from Al Ghubaiba) and E101 (from Ibn Battuta) run to Abu Dhabi Bus Station. From there you need a taxi or local transport to Yas.
• By train: Etihad Rail has linked Dubai Station with Mohamed Bin Zayed City Station in Abu Dhabi since 30 September 2026, in about 57 minutes. The station is not on Yas Island, and the rail page does not describe the onward trip, so plan a taxi from the station. Tickets can be booked up to four weeks ahead.

Getting to Yas Island from Abu Dhabi city

• Taxi or car: the island says it is 25 minutes from Abu Dhabi airport.
• Experience Abu Dhabi Shuttle Bus: free, on eight routes linking Yas Island with Saadiyat Island, the city centre, Jubail Island and the Grand Canal area. Board at any stop and scan the QR code. Route maps are on Visit Abu Dhabi.
• The island’s directions page also lists public buses, the ART tram and a robotaxi service. It does not give routes or times, so check with the operator before relying on them.

What to check before you buy tickets

1. Opening hours for your date. Every park page tells visitors to check park hours before going, and none of them showed fixed hours on the pages we read.
2. Which multi-park ticket you need. “1 Day Any 2 Parks” is for two parks in one day. The 2, 3 and 4 Park Tickets spread visits over 6 days.
3. Child and height-based prices. SeaWorld lists a junior price; the other parks’ ticket pages we read showed one single-day price. Check the booking flow for child prices and height rules before you pay.
4. Ride restrictions. Check each park’s own site for height and health rules on individual rides, especially with children.
5. Whether a hotel package is cheaper. Yas Island sells stay-and-play packages through its hotels; compare before buying separately.
6. Parking at the park. Yas Waterworld’s page mentions a temporary parking relocation with buggies to the entrance. Check the current arrangement.

How many days to plan

If you want time for the rides and shows, plan on one park a day. The 2, 3 and 4 Park Tickets are valid over 6 days, which gives you room to spread the parks out and rest in between. A simple plan for two days: Ferrari World or Warner Bros. World on the first day, then Yas Waterworld or SeaWorld on the second, with an evening at Yas Bay, which is free.
