Dubai International Academy (DIA) Emirates Hills is a private international school on First Al Khail Street, Emirates Hills, Dubai, for boys and girls aged 3 to 18. What the school teaches

New students also pay a non-refundable entrance test fee of AED 525 (including VAT) and an enrolment fee of 10% of the annual fee, which is deducted from the Term 1 fee. If teachers decide a student needs English as an Additional Language (EAL) support, it costs AED 4,500 a year. Meals, transport, uniforms, trips and external exam fees are charged separately.
How admission works
Applications are made online and accepted at any time of year; if there is no place, the child joins a waiting list. For KG1, parents fill in a questionnaire. Children applying for KG2 to Year 2 have a personal assessment in English, and from Year 3 they take the CAT4 test online. Siblings of current students get priority. At the assessment, bring copies of the child’s birth certificate, passport, visa and Emirates ID, school reports for the last 2 years, immunisation records and 2 passport photos. A transfer certificate is also required.
Good to know
- Fees can be paid through the Zenda app, by bank transfer, by cheque, by credit card at the school, or in cash.
- School buses are run by Arab Falcon Bus Rental; a seat depends on routes and availability ([email protected]).
- EAL support is offered from Year 1 to Year 11.
