Hub71 is Abu Dhabi’s technology ecosystem for startups, investors and corporate partners, based at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) on Al Maryah Island. It is for founders who want to build or move a tech company to Abu Dhabi, and for investors and partners who want to work with them.

Incentives
According to Hub71’s FAQ, startups admitted to Access, Hub71+ Digital Assets or Hub71+ ClimateTech receive AED 250,000 in in-kind support, such as office space, health insurance, housing, and licensing and visa support, plus AED 250,000 in cash in exchange for equity through a SAFE note. High performers can receive a top-up of up to AED 250,000 for more equity. These programmes last 12 months, including a three-month guided track.
How to apply
- Apply online through the programmes page with your startup details and a PDF pitch deck. There is no application fee.
- Selection has four rounds: review, a pitch to Hub71, a pitch to partners, and a final committee.
- Expect feedback within three months.
- Selected startups register an ADGM tech licence, and at least one founder relocates; founders must be in Abu Dhabi for the first three months.
Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A startups, solo founders and companies from outside the UAE can apply, and you do not need to incorporate first.

Good to know
- The FAQ gives February 2027 as the Cohort 21 deadline, with the programme starting in September 2027.
- Unsuccessful applicants can reapply to later cohorts.
