The Foundry
About The Foundry
The Foundry is the steakhouse restaurant of the Southern Sun Abu Dhabi hotel on Mina Road in Al Zahiya, Abu Dhabi. By day it serves breakfast, a buffet and a set-menu business lunch; in the evening it runs as an à la carte steakhouse. It suits hotel guests, people working nearby and diners looking for steak.
What is on the menu
The hotel’s page describes the evening menu as built around beef cuts sourced from suppliers from the USA to Australia. The cuts it names are tenderloin, sirloin and rib-eye (grain-fed or grass-fed), plus Porterhouse, T-Bone and Tomahawk, served with a choice of extras and sides. The restaurant has a show kitchen and chef stations, and the page mentions summer brunches. Menus are linked from the page as PDF files.
