Real Pilates JLT

Real Pilates JLT is a Pilates studio in the ONE JLT building in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, one of three Real Pilates studios in Dubai alongside Jumeirah and Meydan. It runs small group mat and equipment classes and private sessions taught by STOTT PILATES-certified instructors, for adults from complete beginners upward.

Classes and equipment

• Mat classes: Mat Pilates, Barre and Hatha Yoga.
• Equipment classes: Pilates Reformer and Pilates Chair.
• Private and semi-private sessions, one-to-one or in a small group.

The studio lists V2Max Plus reformers, split-pedal stability chairs, ladder and arc barrels, spine correctors and supporters, jumpboards and rotational diskboards. Instructors have also completed an injuries and special populations course. Real Pilates hosts the STOTT PILATES Academy Dubai, which runs instructor courses, workshops and exams.

Before your first class

1. Download the Real Pilates app and create an account.
2. Buy a package first: online and app booking only works with an active package. The pricing page groups packages into a newcomers’ trial offer, mat packs, equipment packs, private and semi-private sessions, a prenatal combo pack, unlimited packs and gift vouchers; most packages can be used at any of the three studios.
3. Book your class in the app. Bookings are not taken by phone, email or social media. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking ahead is strongly advised.
4. List any injuries or health conditions on the registration form and tell your instructor.

Studio rules

• Arrive five minutes before class. If you are more than five minutes late you cannot join, and your place may go to the waitlist.
• Cancel group classes more than 6 hours before the start, and private or semi-private sessions at least 24 hours ahead.
• Minimum age is 18. Teens over 14 can book private sessions with written parental consent.
• There is no childcare, and children cannot be left in reception during classes.

Good to know

• Lockers, showers, towels, shampoo and body wash are provided.
• With some injuries the studio may ask for a medical certificate or a private session before group classes.
• Packages cannot be shared; remaining sessions can be transferred once to another person, at management’s discretion.
