Al Ain Zoo

Choose a zoo walk or a timed safari

Al Ain Zoo combines a general wildlife visit with separately defined guided products. Decide whether the group’s priority is choosing its own habitats and breaks or joining a timed safari. A general entry ticket does not grant every animal encounter, and seeing an activity in a list is not confirmation that it operates today.

The current FAQ explicitly says Dinner with the Lions and Safari Lion Feeding are not operating. Build the visit around available alternatives rather than treating those experiences as a reason to buy admission. Keeper-led feeding also depends on the animals’ availability and response, so a ticket is not a guarantee that a particular animal will participate.

Compare equivalent products, not headline fees

The FAQ lists general admission at AED 31.50 for an adult and AED 10.50 for a child aged 3–12. Two adults and children aged 6 and 10 would total AED 84 for general entry. The chosen ages avoid conflicting legal wording at the exact three- and twelve-year boundaries, which need confirmation for those visitors.

The published Safari Truck price is AED 210 per participant, while the private SUV is AED 1,050 for up to six. Four truck participants would cost AED 840; a group using the SUV pays its vehicle price rather than four individual SUV fares. The named package terms include general zoo entry, so do not add it again to those specified products. Every age counts toward a safari seat, including a child who might qualify for free general entry.

Schedule the fixed session before the flexible route

The safari terms request arrival 15 minutes before its time at the Safari portal. Arrange entry and movement through the zoo before that check-in, then place the flexible wildlife walk around it. A shuttle within the zoo and a safari are different products.

Use the dated opening calendar for the intended visit; seasonal timings differ from the FAQ’s generic 9 am–6 pm wording. Plan return transport independently. The operator’s access information can help choose assistance, but this review does not certify every path or make a universal suitability claim.
