Gulf Medical University is a private medical university in Ajman, founded in 1998 by Dr. Thumbay Moideen, founder president of the Thumbay Group. According to its website, it comprises seven colleges: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Nursing, the Thumbay College of Veterinary Medicine and the Thumbay College of Management and AI in Healthcare, together offering more than 50 programmes. The university reports around 5,000 students from 111 countries, faculty from 35 countries and more than 4,000 alumni. It operates within an integrated academic health system that includes the Thumbay academic hospitals. The Ajman campus office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sunday. It can be reached on +971 6 743 1333.
