How much does it cost to go up Burj Khalifa?

At the 11 October 2026 review, the operator pages display AED 189 for Silver, AED 399 for Gold and AED 769 for Platinum. These are published prices, not a test of slot availability or a completed purchase. Compare levels, ages and booking terms with the calendar price for your date.

Burj Khalifa ticket prices at a glance

Base prices above appear on the operator’s Silver, Gold and Platinum pages. The AED 149 example below for ages 3–7 is from Visit Dubai’s Silver booking product, not a guarantee of every seller’s age band or price. Do not mix voucher conditions with operator-ticket conditions.

What each price buys

Silver, AED 189

Entry to levels 124 and 125, including the public outdoor terrace, high-powered telescopes and the double-deck lifts that climb at 10 metres per second. It is the cheapest ticket to the decks.

Gold, AED 399

Gold adds level 148 to 124 and 125, with priority entry, guiding and refreshments in the operator description. Choose it if those features matter for your visit, then match the age category and price to your booking slot.

Platinum, AED 769

Platinum includes the lounge on 152–154 and access to 124, 125 and 148 in the operator description. Read drinks, food, duration and age terms for your package; the displayed AED 769 is not a guarantee of every age or add-on price.

What changes the price you pay

• The tier. Gold is a little over twice Silver; Platinum is about four times Silver.
• Age: Operator pages allow free entry under age 3 and require an adult companion for children up to age 16. Match the price category to your package and seller rather than assuming the same child discount across tiers.
• The date and time slot. Tickets are valid only for the date and time you book, and the listing says peak and non-peak timings change with the season. Compare slots in the calendar before paying.
• Add-ons: Separate deck entry from a meal or second-attraction package, then identify each visit date, meal sitting and inclusion.
• Cancellation: The main product pages permit cancellation requests up to 24 hours before the visit, not within 24 hours. That wording alone does not guarantee a full refund for every offer or reseller; read your package and seller’s terms before payment.
• 31 December: Do not use a previous year’s hours for this special date; match visit times, terrace access and arrival arrangements to the operator’s announcement for the year you book.

A budget example using published prices, not a booking quote

For two adults, a five-year-old and a two-year-old, assume AED 189 per adult and AED 149 for the Silver child, or AED 399 or AED 769 per paying guest on the other tiers. The under-three is free. These are arithmetic assumptions; match age prices in your booking calendar.

• Silver: 2 × AED 189 + AED 149 + AED 0 = AED 527.
• Gold: 3 × AED 399 + AED 0 = AED 1,197.
• Platinum: 3 × AED 769 + AED 0 = AED 2,307.

The AED 670 Silver-to-Gold difference follows the assumptions above. Choose by levels, priority, refreshments and your available time; we do not assume identical views or a queue-free visit for your slot.

The cheapest way to see Burj Khalifa

1. See it from outside: Compare a photograph from an accessible public area with a paid deck visit. Fountain schedules and Boardwalk access can change, so we do not use an old schedule for every date.
2. Compare Silver: It covers 124 and 125; use the price for your slot and age, not an assumption it is the cheapest offer at every seller.
3. Book only when your plans are fixed. A late cancellation means losing the ticket.

Do children pay to go up Burj Khalifa?

Under age 3 is free per the operator. Child price categories depend on the package and seller; AED 149 for Silver ages 3–7 is a Visit Dubai example, not a universal price for every slot or tier.

Is the listed price always what I pay?

No. Tickets are sold by date and slot, and timings change with the season. The booking calendar shows the price for the slot you pick.

Can I get my money back?

Read the seller and product terms. The main products specify a 24-hour cancellation cutoff, but full-refund and voucher conditions can differ. The FAQ says poor weather visibility is not refundable; that does not decide every exceptional closure.

How tall is the building, and how high do the tickets go?

Emaar gives Burj Khalifa’s height as 828 metres over 163 floors. The listings put level 125 at 456 metres, level 148 at 555 metres and the Platinum lounge at 585 metres.

What else costs money nearby?
