Is there a Metro to Palm Jumeirah?

There is no Dubai Metro station on Palm Jumeirah. You can use the Metro to the Marina area and continue by taxi to your address. The Tram has a Palm Jumeirah stop, but the Monorail is suspended for maintenance until further notice at review; do not currently plan a Metro–Tram–Monorail connection.

What actually serves the Palm

Three ways to get there, step by step

1. The usual Tram connection: Monorail suspended

1. Take the Red Line towards the Marina and get off at Sobha Realty or DMCC.
2. Change to the Dubai Tram and ride to Palm Jumeirah station (station 09).
3. Do not complete the final leg by Monorail at present; use another means to your destination and do not go to its gate assuming a train is running.

The Metro and Tram are RTA modes, while the Monorail is separate. If it resumes, check its own conditions, fares and every leg; accepting nol does not make its fare part of the Metro journey.

2. Metro, then a taxi

1. Take the Red Line to the Marina stretch.
2. Take a taxi from the station to your Palm address. DTC lists street-hail starts of AED 5 by day or AED 5.50 from 10 pm to 6 am, then AED 2.45 per kilometre, with an AED 12 minimum. App-booked starts differ; include waiting and fees in the comparison.

3. Taxi all the way

Compare a direct taxi if travelling with bags or children. DTC lists airport starts of AED 20 for a normal car or AED 25 for a van, then AED 2.62 per kilometre; Dubai Airports states AED 25 without separating types. A worked example

One adult with a Silver nol card, travelling from Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station to a hotel on the Palm:

• Red Line to Sobha Realty and the Tram to Palm Jumeirah: at most AED 7.50 as one journey, if the change is made within 30 minutes.
• The final RTA-station-to-hotel leg is charged by address, distance, time, waiting and fees. Use the full hotel address when comparing a direct ride with the route that includes Metro.

Compare Metro, Tram and final taxi costs with a taxi from your original starting point. The result depends on people, bags and address; a split route is not always cheaper.

Station names have changed

Older guides can use previous station names. The current RTA map lists Sobha Realty and Al Fardan Exchange; match the station name and code in the map and S’hail before choosing your interchange.

What this means when choosing a hotel

Palm Jumeirah boardwalk on the Palm’s crescent is listed by Visit Dubai among free activities. Choose the section, access route and return transport; we do not confirm every section is open 24 hours.

Which Metro station is closest to Palm Jumeirah?
