Choose Arabian wildlife, not an African safari itinerary

Arabia’s Wildlife Centre belongs to Sharjah Desert Park on the Al Dhaid side of Sharjah. Its subject is wildlife of the Arabian Peninsula. The tourism authority highlights species including Arabian oryx and Arabian leopard; their presence in the collection does not promise a particular animal will be visible at every visit.

Use the displays to compare adaptation: how does a reptile, bird or mammal respond to the landscape described on its label? Distinguish what you observe from what the interpretation explains. A quieter observation visit can be useful even if an animal is resting or out of view.

The children’s farm is a different part of the park

The wider park includes a children’s farm, botanical facilities and a natural-history museum. A petting-farm visit is not permission to touch the wildlife-centre animals, and breeding work at a neighbouring conservation facility is not a public behind-the-scenes tour.

Choose whether the day is mainly animal observation or a combination with another park facility. If the children specifically want an animal-contact activity, establish the farm’s current programme and access rather than promising it as part of this centre. Use the published age categories carefully

The federal ministry’s live ecotourism page lists AED 15 for adults and free entry for children below 12. Two adults with children aged 6 and 10 therefore have a published admission example of AED 30, before travel and extras. It separately lists AED 5 for children above 12, but does not define exactly age 12 or the upper boundary between child and adult. Do not guess the category for an older child.

The ministry gives Sunday–Thursday 9 am–5:30 pm and Friday 2 pm–5:30 pm, without Saturday. That is not a complete seven-day schedule or proof of every park facility’s hours. Use its destination contact +97165311999 to establish the intended date and admission scope. Arrange the return trip for the Desert Park location instead of relying on a fixed city transfer time.
