According to its website, Green Fields was incorporated in Dubai on 16 July 2012 as a limited liability company and is a subsidiary of Emirates Rawabi, with an invested capital of AED 45 million. Its current business activity is producing poultry feeds, and one of its stated aims is to meet the requirements of the group’s own farms.

The Emirates Rawabi group website describes Green Fields as its animal feed brand, made in a purpose-built facility with Swiss-engineered machinery, with a capacity of 150,000 metric tons a year. The group’s other brands are Al Rawabi Dairy and Emirates National Food (poultry sold under the Al Rawdah name).
