Mushrif National Park
About Mushrif National Park
Choose a park day, a walking route or a cycling route
Mushrif National Park is in Dubai, on Al Khawaneej Street; it is not a similarly named Abu Dhabi park. Dubai Municipality’s 2025 Mushrif Hub announcement describes walking and cycling facilities alongside food outlets, changing facilities and showers. Decide which part of that destination is the actual purpose of your visit.
The authority gives 9.7 km for the walking track and 50 km for the mountain-biking network. The latter is the network’s total, not a distance every rider must complete. Green, blue and red tracks identify different riding levels. Choose by the route instructions and your group’s ability, not by a promise that an entire forest circuit suits every beginner.
Keep walking and cycling decisions separate
The walking route’s original 2023 announcement divided it into an 8.3 km yellow route and a 1.4 km orange route. That dated guide places the orange route at the more demanding level. Use the current entrance map and signs to decide an available route and turnaround point, especially if members want different distances.
Equipment hire, an organised activity and access to a particular attraction are different from using a trail with your own equipment. Agree who brings or rents equipment and where the group reunites. Do not treat park admission as a ticket to every adventure operator.
Understand the price and the forest rules
The tourism authority’s cycling article describes free trail use with AED 3 per person for park entry and additional equipment rental. Four people charged that published pedestrian rate would total AED 12, before equipment or transport. This is an attributed entry example, not a confirmed fare for every vehicle or gate.
The municipality’s 2023 forest-walking guidance excludes fires, cooking, smoking, camping and overnight stays in the forest. It should not be expanded into a prohibition on designated picnic facilities elsewhere in the park. Its age guidance is dated and must not substitute for current route signs.
The 2025 Hub’s lighting announcement is not a verified all-night hiking timetable. No seven-day schedule for every route was established. Arrange arrival and return around the chosen activity’s current access rather than assuming the whole network remains available whenever the main park is open.
