Dubai Butterfly Garden
About Dubai Butterfly Garden
Dubai Butterfly Garden in Al Barsha South 3 is a covered butterfly visit beside Dubai Miracle Garden. Choose it for close observation and learning about the life cycle, rather than assuming it is the same experience as the neighbouring flower garden. Decide which attraction matters to your group before buying a combination.
Use the butterfly-specific hours
The attraction’s own visit section publishes daily 9 am–6 pm, last entry 30 minutes before closing. Its group-site footer also displays Miracle Garden hours of 9 am–9 pm; those are not the butterfly visit schedule. Plan arrival before 5:30 pm and leave time for the activity, rather than treating last entry as a useful starting time for a full visit.
The operator suggests around two to three hours. Adjust that allowance for your group: a child interested in the educational area may want a different pace from somebody taking a brief look. This is an operator estimate, not a guarantee about every visit.
Entry and a combination decision
The operator displays general admission at AED 52.50 including VAT, the same for adults and children aged 3 to 12 (checked on the official site on 29 October 2026), with free admission for children under three and People of Determination on presenting ID. An illustrative group of two paying adults, a paying five-year-old and a two-year-old is AED 157.50 at that displayed rate. Food, souvenirs and transport are additional choices, not part of the calculation.
A combination with Miracle Garden is listed. Compare its current price and valid visit dates with buying only the attraction you want. A year-round butterfly product does not prove that the neighbouring seasonal attraction is operating on the same day or that both tickets permit the same access. Confirm each component before paying for two.
A visit built around observation
Our suggested sequence is the life-cycle displays, a careful walk in the domes, then comparing the wing patterns or behaviour you noticed. Keep children supervised, watch the pathways and do not touch butterfly wings. Do not promise an animal will land on a visitor or treat it as a staged photo experience.
The site recommends the Metro to Mall of the Emirates followed by a taxi, and mentions a bus connection whose current route needs checking with RTA. Budget the final leg and return, not just the Metro fare. Outside food and drink are prohibited inside the domes; plan a meal break separately from the observing time.
