The Green Planet
About The Green Planet
The Green Planet at City Walk, Al Wasl is an indoor rainforest visit. Choose it when your group wants to observe animals in that environment; select an encounter separately if meeting a particular species is the main purpose. General admission and a named encounter should not be assumed to include the same activity.
Which ticket adds something you will use?
Compare the ordinary visit with a premium product, meal upgrade or encounter by listing their actual inclusions. Ask which scheduled activity the upgrade guarantees and who can participate. If only one child wants it, compare an individual addition with upgrading the whole family. The relevant benefit is the part you will use, not the longest package description.
The ticket page still exposes resident offers with past validity dates and differing displayed prices. We do not present those offers as available today. For two adults and two paying children, use the actual selected adult quote A and child quote C: 2A + 2C, then add any specifically chosen meals or encounters. Under-twos are listed free; bring proof of age and include their required ticket if the selected product asks for one.
Indoor does not mean a cool, dry museum
The venue publishes daily 10 am–6 pm. Its rules describe a humid rainforest environment, so organise breaks around your group’s comfort rather than assuming the indoor setting removes every heat or humidity concern. The posted categories distinguish ages 2–10 from adults 11+, while day-pass conditions require a paying adult for all under-18s. Use the stricter product condition when arranging a child’s visit.
Our suggested sequence is to choose one rainforest level or habitat, observe how two species use it, then use the explanation to compare their behaviour. Respect staff instructions: do not touch or feed animals outside an authorised activity, and do not use flash. A listed species or encounter does not promise a particular animal will approach you.
Parking and the whole outing
The parking page directs drivers to C2 at City Walk and says up to three hours are free with validation; some offer wording gives a different allowance. Confirm the entitlement attached to your ticket and validate before leaving. Save the route across to the venue and a return pickup point. Budget food outside the biodome as a separate break, since outside food and drink are not allowed inside. Match any encounter time with the main visit before buying a non-refundable product.

An option to compare
Compare Dubai Butterfly Garden if observing butterflies is the main interest; do not assume its admission or opening hours match the rainforest venue. Dubai Butterfly Garden.
