About Jubail Mangrove Park
Jubail Mangrove Park is a protected mangrove nature park on Jubail Island in Abu Dhabi, run as an education, nature and leisure destination. It suits families, birdwatchers, photographers and anyone who wants to walk or paddle through the mangroves, with a boardwalk, ranger walks and water activities booked through the park’s own website.
What you can do
A boardwalk winds through the mangroves. The park lists flamingos, western reef herons and other resident and migratory birds, as well as fish, crabs and molluscs in the tidal channels. Activities are booked by time slot on the park’s activities page. Prices shown there on 24 October 2026:

The park information section says general admission is free and that some activities and guided tours need advance booking and carry fees. The activities page lists the Boardwalk Experience day pass with its own price, so check what your ticket covers when you book.
Opening hours and tides
As published by the park: daily 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with last entry at 5:30 PM. Timings may change during Ramadan and public holidays. The park explains that kayaking and paddleboarding become available at high tide, while low tide exposes the mangrove roots and the crabs and molluscs on the mudflats, so it advises checking the tide schedule before you go.
Good to know
- Confirmed bookings are not refundable. You can ask to reschedule up to 48 hours before the activity, subject to availability.
- Stay on the paths and boardwalks. Smoking, pets, swimming or entering the water, feeding wildlife and drones without permission are not allowed.
- Personal photoshoots with professional-grade cameras cost AED 200. Commercial filming needs prior approval.
- Bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat and water, and keep children supervised.
