Is Dubai Miracle Garden worth it?

Yes if you like gardens, are travelling with children, or want photographs unlike anywhere else. No if you have two days in Dubai and have not yet seen the things people actually come for. An adult ticket is AED 105 including VAT on the official site, plus transport to Al Barsha South: a lovely add-on, not a headline sight.

What justifies the ticket

Scale. The official site describes 72,000 square metres of outdoor garden, more than 150 million blooms each season and over 50 floral displays — arches, a Heart Tunnel, a Floral Castle, an Umbrella Passage and a Smurfs Village. The centrepiece is the Emirates A380, which the garden calls the world’s largest floral aircraft, covered with more than 500,000 fresh flowers and living plants. The installations change each season, so a second visit years later is a different place.

What Dubai Miracle Garden costs, all in

The combo price is set on the booking page for your date, and UAE residents see their rate there after verification — check both before you go. Tickets are valid only for the date shown and are non-refundable once bought, including for date changes or no-shows.

A worked example: a family of four

Two adults pay AED 105 each, AED 210. Your 3-to-12-year-old pays AED 84 and a two-year-old enters free, so entry comes to AED 294, VAT included. Then add return transport. Compare that total with the other things on your list for the same afternoon — that is the real decision.

How to get there

The garden is in Al Barsha South 3. The official site gives three ways in:

1. Dubai Metro Red Line to Mall of the Emirates, then a short taxi ride.
2. RTA Bus 105 from Mall of the Emirates, which goes directly to the garden.
3. Taxi or car, via Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Umm Suqeim Road or Al Khail Road.

Skip it if

Your budget is tight and you have not yet done Burj Khalifa or old Dubai. It is also, unavoidably, a manufactured attraction in a desert — some people find that delightful and some find it faintly ridiculous. Both reactions are reasonable.

Rules to know before you go

• No outside food or drinks, and bags are security-checked.
• Professional cameras, detachable lenses, tablets and laptops are prohibited. Phone photos are allowed. Drones are not.
• Not permitted: pets, bicycles, scooters, hoverboards and balls.
• Picking flowers and smoking are prohibited throughout the garden.

Check the season and time your visit

The garden is seasonal; its own FAQ says it typically runs from late September or October to April or May and closes over summer for replanting. The 2026–27 season is open now (confirmed on the official site on 29 October 2026) — see is Miracle Garden open in summer. Hours are 9:00 to 21:00 daily, with last entry 30 minutes before closing.
