Questions & Answers

Is Dubai Miracle Garden worth it?

Is Dubai Miracle Garden worth your time? Compare the advertised entry price, transport costs and seasonal opening before planning a visit.

Yes if you like gardens, are travelling with children, or want photographs unlike anywhere else. No if you have two days in Dubai and have not yet seen the things people actually come for. With entry advertised from AED 100, plus transport to Dubailand, it is a lovely add-on rather than a headline sight.

What justifies the ticket

Scale. It is 72,000 square metres of living plants arranged into arches, hearts, castles and animal sculptures — and a full-size Emirates A380 covered in flowers, which alone is worth the entry for most people. The installations change every season, so a second visit years later is a different place.

What it costs, all in

  • Miracle Garden entry — the official site advertises tickets from AED 100. Check the selected date, age category and any residency conditions before booking.
  • Butterfly Garden — separately advertised from AED 50. Check availability and booking conditions on the official site.
  • Transport — budget for the return journey. Taxi fares depend on the pickup point and traffic; get a current fare estimate before travelling.
  • Parking — free if you drive

Compare the total entry and return transport cost with the other activities on your itinerary.

Go if

  • You have four days or more and the headline sights are covered
  • You are travelling with young children — flat paths, pushchair-friendly, open space, few queues
  • Photographs are a real part of why you travel

Skip it if

Your budget is tight and you have not yet done Burj Khalifa or old Dubai. It is also, unavoidably, a manufactured attraction in a desert — some people find that delightful and some find it faintly ridiculous. Both reactions are reasonable.

And check the season first

As checked on 8 September 2026, the official site says the garden is closed for summer renovation; an exact reopening date should be confirmed officially — see is Miracle Garden open in summer. In season, go on a weekday, arrive around 16:00 for daylight and the lit version, and allow two to three hours. There is almost no shade.
