Is Dubai Miracle Garden open in summer?

No. Dubai Miracle Garden is a seasonal outdoor garden. Its last season ended on 31 May 2026, and Season 15 is now open: we confirmed on the official site on 29 October 2026 that it runs daily from 09:00 to 21:00. The garden itself says it runs from late September or October to April or May. If you are in Dubai over the summer, the Dubai Butterfly Garden next door is open all year.

Why it closes in summer

The garden covers more than 72,000 square metres and holds more than 150 million flowers across more than 120 varieties, according to the Dubai Media Office. All of it is outdoors and all of it is living plants. The Media Office gives Dubai’s average summer high as 41.8°C. A display built from flowers on an open site cannot be kept in bloom through that heat, and walking it in the afternoon would not be comfortable either. So the garden shuts and opens again when the weather turns.

What you will see when it reopens

The centrepiece is a full-size Emirates A380 covered in flowers. Dubai Pass, run by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, describes it as recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest floral creation. The same listing mentions the Umbrella Tunnel, Hill Top and a 15-metre floral clock. The garden’s own site counts more than 50 floral displays and says it receives more than 20,000 visitors a day.

Tickets: what to check before you buy

• Buy on the official website. It sells three products: Miracle Garden, Butterfly Garden, and a combo of the two. Prices are set per season, so use the current season’s prices on the site rather than last year’s figures. This season Miracle Garden lists AED 105 for adults (13+) and AED 84 for children aged 3 to 12, VAT included.
• Butterfly Garden tickets are AED 52.50, VAT included. Children under 3 and people of determination enter free with ID.
• Single entry only. If you leave, you cannot come back in on the same ticket.
• Last season’s free entry for children aged 12 and under, which ran from 1 March to 31 May 2026, was a seasonal promotion. Do not assume it will return.

Rules worth knowing

• No outside food or drink.
• Not allowed: vehicles, balls, scooters, bicycles, hoverboards and pets.
• Professional cameras and drones are prohibited, and event shoots need prior authorisation.
• The garden is wheelchair and stroller friendly.

How to get there

2. From Mall of the Emirates, take RTA bus 105 or a taxi to the garden.
3. If you are driving, the garden is reached from Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Umm Suqeim Road or Al Khail Road.

If you are in Dubai in summer

The Dubai Butterfly Garden, beside Miracle Garden at the same address, is open all year from 09:00 to 18:00, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. It has two climate-controlled domes kept at 18–25°C, and the garden suggests allowing two to three hours. Food and drink are not allowed inside the domes, and you should not touch the butterflies’ wings.

A worked example

A family of two adults and two children, aged 7 and 2, wants the Butterfly Garden in July. The two-year-old enters free with ID. If the other three pay the listed AED 52.50, the total is AED 157.50. Check the official site first, because child and resident rates may differ from the listed price.

• Go in the late afternoon. You avoid the midday heat and see the displays in daylight and after dark.
