Is Dubai too hot in October?

Visit Dubai’s official October guide describes a 31°C daily average, with a typical high of 35°C and night-time low of 27°C. These describe the month’s climate; they are not guaranteed temperature limits or a forecast for October 2026 or your travel dates.

Averages do not tell you about your own week. For the days you are travelling, use the National Center of Meteorology forecast, which publishes daily Dubai bulletins.

What opens in October 2026

• Global Village: Season 31 starts on 14 October 2026. The 8 October announcement sets opening night at 6 pm; normal opening is then 4 pm. Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples and ladies, except public holidays.
• Dubai Miracle Garden: An event-calendar entry is not independent confirmation of the season’s opening date. Check the operator’s site and ticket availability for your day before adding it to the itinerary.
• Events: Choose an event from Dubai Calendar, then check its exact date, venue and conditions. Appearing under October does not mean it runs during your trip.

Is October cheaper? Compare your actual trip

A January–October tourism average combines different months, so it does not establish that October itself is quieter or cheaper than December. The daily rate across all Dubai hotels is not a quotation for your chosen hotel and room.

Compare the same hotel, room type, guest count and number of nights, including taxes, fees, breakfast and cancellation terms. Then compare alternative dates; changing the area or room along with the month makes the result misleading.

Record the dates, hotel and room, total stay price, inclusions, cancellation deadline and transport to your chosen activities for each offer. If one offer is non-refundable, include that condition in the decision rather than comparing only the nightly rate.

How to plan an October trip around the heat

1. Put outdoor bookings such as a desert safari, Miracle Garden or Global Village in the late afternoon or evening.
2. Keep the hours around midday for malls, museums and other indoor attractions.
3. Check the National Center of Meteorology forecast the evening before, not just a monthly average.
