Kalba Beach Corniche is a seafront of about 9.4 kilometres in Kalba, Sharjah’s town on the Gulf of Oman coast. It suits families and walkers who want a long sandy beach, a jogging track and shaded seats facing the sea, and it is a base for visiting Kalba’s mangrove and wildlife sites.
Where it is
Visit Sharjah places Kalba about 120 kilometres east of Sharjah city and about 12 kilometres south of Fujairah. It is the southernmost inhabited part of Sharjah, before the border with Oman.

Nature at the southern end
At the southern end, the coastal sands meet mangrove forest that forms part of the Al Hefaiyah Conservation Area. Visit Sharjah describes the coast as an important nesting site for hawksbill turtles and the only place in the UAE where the rare Arabian collared kingfisher breeds.
