Rain Room
About Rain Room
Rain Room in Al Majarrah, Sharjah is a timed artwork, not a water park. Its appeal is watching how responsive rain changes around a visitor. Choose it when a focused, short experience fits your day; it is not a substitute for a long programme of children’s activities.
Book around the session
The booking site permits at most seven visitors together and describes a 10–15-minute experience. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the reservation. Saturday–Thursday hours are 9 am–9 pm; Friday is 4–10 pm. For a larger group, agree whether separate sessions suit you before buying; do not assume eight people can enter together by purchasing eight tickets.
The foundation publishes adult admission at AED 25 and student/teacher admission at AED 15 with the relevant ID; the student category extends up to age 22. Children up to age five are free. A calculation for two adults and two eligible students is AED 80: 2×25 + 2×15. Ensure each person’s booking and supporting documents match the category, including a free-entry visitor.
Clothing changes the experience
Rain detection is not a promise that you cannot get wet. The terms warn that sudden movement can cause contact with water, and dark, shiny, reflective or impermeable clothing can affect the sensors. Pointed high heels and rain gear are not allowed. This makes a deliberately slow visit more appropriate than running through with a camera.
Our suggested approach is to observe how the rain responds before changing direction, then compare your experience with another person’s observations afterwards. With children, explain the movement rules before the session and keep supervision throughout. Decide which device you actually need; phones are used at the owner’s risk, and professional shoots require prior permission.
Leave flexibility around a fixed reservation
Tickets are date- and time-specific, cannot be exchanged to another slot, and unused tickets are not refunded. Save the Al Majarrah destination and plan arrival from your real starting point; we do not quote a transport duration. Place other Sharjah stops before or after the reservation with travel time in between. The artwork can temporarily close for maintenance, so check an operating notice rather than treating a regular hours table as guaranteed admission.
