Choose a free exhibition or the paid Legacy Tour

Queen Elizabeth 2 is a historic ship used as a floating hotel at Mina Rashid. A cultural visit does not require buying an overnight room. The operator offers distinct visitor experiences, and their access, price and time should not be combined into one imaginary ship-museum ticket.

Travellers Cove on One Deck is a museum space about the ship’s history. Its dedicated operator page publishes free admission and daily 10 am–10 pm opening. Four visitors to that free exhibition therefore have a published admission cost of AED 0, excluding their transport, food or another experience.

The Legacy Tour is a different product at AED 85 per person, available daily upon request. It includes a wider route with recreated historic rooms and a digital guide. Four people each charged this published rate would total AED 340. No child concession was verified. The itinerary does not include the engine room.

Decide by interest and the route’s physical demands

Choose Travellers Cove for a focused introduction to the vessel’s story; choose the Legacy Tour if the recreated spaces and broader route are the main purpose. Neither choice automatically includes theatre tickets, a swimming pool, restaurants or access to guest cabins. Hotel check-in times do not set museum or tour availability.

The operator says the Legacy Tour is not wheelchair accessible and involves stairs, narrow passages and substantial walking. That limitation belongs to this tour, not a claim that every hotel area has the same access. Ask about the specific free-exhibition route if mobility needs determine the choice.

Arrange the product, not just arrival at the hotel

The activities page both advises advance booking and states that pre-booking is required. Arrange the Legacy Tour beforehand rather than depending on a walk-in place. Its educational group window of 8–10 am upon request is not a general public timetable.
